Two Cones
I have often found myself drawn to the grungey nature of midwest-urbanism. There are always cracks in the asfalt, and a plethora of dying cones in every parking lot. This pair of paintings are based off the worn down cones I see in my everyday life, but with my own artistic perspective.



This is a contrast study, so the varying details and presentation can be attributed to the exploration of high and low contrast.
